1. Scope
These Terms apply to the use of iInvoice.
iInvoice is distributed through Apple’s Mac App Store. Purchases, payments, refunds, downloads, and use of the App Store are also subject to Apple’s applicable terms and licence conditions.
Mandatory consumer-protection laws remain unaffected.
2. Provider
The provider and licensor of iInvoice is:
Max Anton Schneider c/o MDC Management #1582 Welserstraße 3 87463 Dietmannsried Germany
Email: info@maxantonschneider.com
Apple is not the developer or operator of iInvoice.
3. Description of the Application
iInvoice is a macOS application that helps prepare bookkeeping documents based on financial reports provided through Apple App Store Connect.
Depending on the current version, iInvoice may:
- import Apple financial and payment reports;
- reconcile report totals and payouts;
- identify relevant Apple legal entities;
- allocate proceeds;
- prepare invoices and reverse-charge documents for supported cases;
- prepare internal settlement records;
- generate monthly-close PDFs and individual documents; and
- maintain a searchable local history.
The exact functionality and supported report formats are described in the current App Store listing.
4. Licence
Subject to payment of any applicable purchase price and compliance with these Terms and Apple’s applicable rules, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use iInvoice on compatible Apple devices associated with your App Store account.
The application is licensed, not sold.
You may not unlawfully copy, redistribute, sublicense, reverse engineer, circumvent technical protections, or otherwise use the application contrary to applicable law or Apple’s terms.
5. Purchase, Payment, and Refunds
Purchases are processed through Apple’s Mac App Store.
The price displayed by Apple at the time of purchase applies. Apple is responsible for payment processing and may apply taxes, currency conversions, regional pricing, and other App Store conditions.
Refund and cancellation requests are generally handled through Apple.
Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
6. Imported Data and User Information
You are responsible for ensuring that the reports and information imported or entered into iInvoice are complete, accurate, and appropriate for the relevant accounting period.
iInvoice cannot determine whether all documents required for your individual bookkeeping or tax obligations have been provided.
Changes to Apple’s report formats, legal entities, contractual structures, or reporting systems may affect the application’s functionality.
7. Generated Documents and Reconciliation
iInvoice generates documents and calculations based on:
- information contained in imported reports;
- information entered by you; and
- the application’s current processing logic.
A successful reconciliation means that the processed values match according to iInvoice’s implemented logic. It does not guarantee that Apple’s underlying information, your accounting treatment, or your tax treatment is correct.
You must review generated documents before using, exporting, archiving, submitting, or providing them to third parties.
In particular, you should verify amounts, currencies, dates, legal entities, tax information, invoice information, and applicable reverse-charge treatment.
8. No Tax, Accounting, Legal, or Financial Advice
iInvoice is a software tool for preparing and organising bookkeeping documents.
It does not provide tax, accounting, legal, financial, or regulatory advice.
Generated invoices, reverse-charge documents, settlement records, calculations, classifications, and other output do not constitute a professional opinion regarding your individual obligations.
Tax and accounting requirements may depend on your country, business structure, VAT status, Apple contracting entity, type of transaction, and other circumstances.
You remain responsible for determining the correct treatment and should consult a qualified tax adviser, accountant, lawyer, or other professional where necessary.
9. Apple Entities and Reverse Charge
iInvoice may associate proceeds with specific Apple legal entities and prepare reverse-charge documentation for supported cases.
These results are based on available report data and application logic.
They do not constitute a legally binding determination that a specific Apple entity, contractual structure, tax treatment, or reverse-charge mechanism applies to your individual case.
You are responsible for verifying the applicable treatment.
10. Local Processing and Data Responsibility
iInvoice is designed to process financial reports, business information, bookkeeping data, and generated documents locally on your Mac.
You are responsible for protecting your device, files, business information, tax information, backups, and exported documents.
We cannot recover information that is lost, overwritten, corrupted, or deleted on your device.
You are also responsible for retaining accounting records and supporting documents for any period required by applicable law.
11. Accuracy, Availability, and Updates
We aim to provide a reliable application but cannot guarantee that iInvoice will operate without errors in every combination of hardware, operating system, report format, currency, accounting period, or Apple reporting structure.
Errors may occur due to software issues, incomplete or corrupted files, changes made by Apple, changes in tax or accounting rules, operating-system updates, or other technical circumstances.
You must verify material calculations and documents before relying on them.
We may provide updates to fix errors, improve functionality, support changes to Apple reports, address security issues, or maintain compatibility with macOS and Apple technologies.
Mandatory statutory rights relating to digital products remain unaffected.
12. Relationship with Apple
iInvoice is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Apple Inc. or its affiliates.
Apple does not verify or approve the accounting or tax treatment applied by iInvoice.
Apple, App Store, App Store Connect, and related trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
13. Prohibited Use
You may not use iInvoice:
- for unlawful purposes;
- to create knowingly false or fraudulent financial records;
- to process information you are not authorised to access;
- to infringe third-party rights;
- to interfere with the application’s operation or security; or
- in a manner that violates Apple’s applicable terms.
14. Liability
We are liable without limitation in cases of intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body, or health, under applicable product-liability law, where a guarantee has expressly been given, and where liability cannot legally be limited.
In cases of slight negligence, liability is limited to breaches of essential contractual obligations and to foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
Mandatory consumer rights and statutory liability provisions remain unaffected.
15. Termination and Changes
You may stop using and uninstall iInvoice at any time.
We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary due to changes to the application, Apple’s platform, legal requirements, security considerations, or clarification of existing provisions.
Changes will not retroactively remove rights already acquired by consumers.
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
For consumers, this choice of law does not deprive them of mandatory protections provided by the law of the country in which they have their habitual residence.
Mandatory rules regarding jurisdiction remain unaffected.
We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board, unless a legal obligation to participate applies.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain unaffected.
The applicable statutory provision shall take the place of the invalid or unenforceable provision.
